Local Diving around the Perth and Fremantle area is easy and rewarding. The best thing about Shore Diving & Scuba Diving in Perth, are the Fantastic dive sites that are located so close to our Perth City. Fremantle is the main Port of Perth City & Western Australia. The Swan River flows down from Perth to Fremantle, with great river dives all the way. The Coombes, Bicton Baths, Scout Hall and Blackwall Reach are a few locations great for sheltered dives, or Night Dives. You will be surprised at the marine life, with an abundance of blue swimmer crabs, bannah prawns, crazy crabs and flounder everywhere. There are a number of small wrecks strewn all along the Swan River. It wouldn't be unusall to see a dolphin or two around the bridges chasing lunch too. The shore dives are renowned for 5 to 10 metre visibility, not as good a the 15 to 20 metres at Rottnest Island, but still great. Favourite spots are the artificial reef at cottesloe, Noth Mole with the wreck of the lignen, home of baby port jackson sharks, hiding around the rocks. Further south you have the Old Jetty out side mc donalds, Robb's Jetty and Woodmans Point, that has a number of different sites. Rockingham has a small Wreck Trail that's cool or Point Peron is another great spot when the winds are northerly. Give us a call and we can direct you to any of these locations and more......So when you are thinking of awesome Perth Dive sites or the best location for a Perth Scuba course, Fremantle is the easiest location on the map. There are pub's, clubs & varieties of accommodation to suit all budgets too. The feel of the Fremantle Port is alive, so come down to Dolphin Dive Fremantle, for the best experience that Perth Scuba Diving can offer, & Scuba Dive your Heart out.
